Chaque silence est scrut\u00e9, chaque explosion vibre comme une onde : l\u2019image et le son dialoguent constamment. Selon The Guardian&nbsp;:&nbsp;Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet incarne un Paul tout en int\u00e9riorit\u00e9, Zendaya une Chani d\u00e9termin\u00e9e, et Rebecca Ferguson une Jessica complexe, tandis qu\u2019Austin Butler impressionne dans un r\u00f4le plus sombre et nuanc\u00e9. La direction artistique millim\u00e9tr\u00e9e et la photographie de Greig Fraser donnent aux paysages d\u00e9sertiques d\u2019Arrakis une dimension quasi vivante, comme si la plan\u00e8te devenait elle-m\u00eame un personnage central. \u00c0 cette richesse visuelle s\u2019ajoute une densit\u00e9 th\u00e9matique : Denis Villeneuve n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 interroger l\u2019h\u00e9ritage, la religion ou encore la violence inh\u00e9rente au pouvoir, offrant au spectateur une r\u00e9flexion qui d\u00e9passe le simple divertissement. Le tout est port\u00e9 par des interpr\u00e9tations tr\u00e8s investies, de Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet \u00e0 Zendaya en passant par Austin Butler, et sublim\u00e9 par la partition monumentale de Hans Zimmer, dont la puissance sonore amplifie chaque \u00e9motion (source :&nbsp;<em>The Guardian<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais cette fresque impressionnante n\u2019est pas sans faiblesses. L\u2019exposition narrative, parfois trop appuy\u00e9e, risque de d\u00e9courager les spectateurs moins familiers de l\u2019univers complexe imagin\u00e9 par Frank Herbert. Certains dialogues souffrent d\u2019un ton sentencieux, sacrifiant le naturel au profit de la solennit\u00e9. Enfin, le rythme se rel\u00e2che \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, notamment dans les s\u00e9quences contemplatives, ce qui tend \u00e0 diluer la tension dramatique. Ces limites n\u2019entament pas la grandeur du film, mais rappellent qu\u2019il s\u2019adresse davantage \u00e0 un public d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9par\u00e9 \u00e0 son exigence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une fresque rare<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 ses d\u00e9fauts, Dune: Part Two s\u2019impose comme un sommet du cin\u00e9ma de science-fiction contemporain. Il assume ses mythes, ses paradoxes, sa grandeur et ses impasses.
